In London, Huracan FC London, inspired by Club Atlético Huracán in Argentina, started a remarkable journey ten years ago. Fans from Argentina followed us on Facebook, uniting us in a shared passion. Our journey took an unexpected turn when fans of the real Huracán in Argentina started following us on Facebook. This connection sparked a mission to use football as a force for good on a global scale.
Today, The Huracan Foundation's mission is clear: provide vital financial support to grassroots charities and initiatives led by dedicated educators in the Teach For All network. Together, we use football to inspire change and transform education.
Our impact reaches 3,000+ children, 17 countries, supporting 41 life-changing projects. Our name proudly adorns every initiative we support, creating a global brand for Huracan.

A Decade of Impact
Fast forward to 2023, and we find ourselves celebrating a remarkable decade. Over these years, we've crafted a proven model for empowering educators from the Teach for All movement to harness the transformative potential of football. Our projects have achieved incredible goals:
Increasing graduation rates for primary school girls in Uganda🇺🇬.
Pioneering one of the first girls' football leagues in the Himalayas, Nepal🇳🇵.
Nurturing the leadership, social, and emotional skills of young girls in Nigeria🇳🇬.
Establishing the first football club for children with Autism in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico🇲🇽.
Providing a safe haven for children to play sports amidst the challenges of the war-torn region of Artsakh Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia🇦🇲.
Yet, our journey is far from over.
The £10K Challenge
We're setting our sights higher, aiming to raise £10,000. This sum will enable us to fully fund two of these transformative projects, creating a profound and lasting impact on both the project participants and their communities.
In 2023, we're embarking on new horizons. We're supporting our first-ever project working with an indigenous population in the province of Chaco, Argentina. Our network of projects in Uganda continues to grow. We're creating safe spaces for girls and boys to develop their confidence in Peru and Mexico, and we're bringing the joy of football to a challenging part of Zimbabwe.

But none of this is possible without your support. The Huracan Foundation takes pride in forging connections across borders, establishing a unique international network among these organizations. This year, we're uniting 20 project leaders, past, present, and future, in Buenos Aires for our annual kick-off week at the end of October.
Our goal is to develop a shareable model that any teacher, anywhere, can use to bring their football project to life. With £10,000, we can fully support two new projects, bringing joy, learning, and connection to the lives of over 100 children.
