Summary

Nurture children who are purposely self driven to attain better academic performance, leadership skills and social wellbeing within and outside their community through the fun and power of football and resourceful trainings.

How we achieve our mission

Weekly football sessions

Number of students attending the football trainings and other activities.

Menstrual Hygiene sensitization

Skills training on how to make reusable sanitary pads.

Mentorship, career guidance and counselling sessions

We help the kids to discover who they are and want to be.

Friendly football matches

We stimulate the community with matches against the kids.

Results

Percentage decrease in the rate of menstrual poverty among girls.

Percentage increase in academic performance.

Percentage decrease in the rate of substance use and abuse.

Number of children with evidential behavioral positive change.

35 boys and 32 girls. Total of 67 participants.

Name: Nyago Mohamad

Age: 15 years old

Background: Mohamad was born in 2009 and raised in the rural district of Kayunga located in the central part of Uganda.

He lives with his single father who is a peasant fisherman in the River Nile. He had dropped out of school in 2020 so that he could help his father in the fishing business to provide needs to the family.

Project Impact: Having not been going to school for nearly 4 years, Mohamad have returned back to school in January 2024, primarily inspired by the principle of sky club that to be in the team and play, one must be at school. He is among the top 5 children with best school attendance record in sky club team. He had a fairly good performance in last term exams, with becoming in position 33rd out of 70 students
