“As the Project Leader of the Huracán FC EduGirls Nigeria project, I have experienced significant personal growth and development over the last 6 months. This project has profoundly impacted my approach to addressing education inequity in low-income communities and has taught me valuable lessons in patience, project management, and coaching skills. One of the pivotal moments in my journey was attending my first-ever coach training session through the Huracan Foundation. This training has not only enhanced my coaching abilities but has also positively influenced how I engage with the girls in the project. Moreover, the past six months have provided me with a deeper understanding of the transformative power of sports in bridging the gender gap within the education space. Witnessing the tangible improvements in the lives of the girls through the Huracán FC EduGirls Nigeria project has been incredibly rewarding and has fueled my determination to continue striving for even greater success in the months to come. am excited and eagerly look forward to the next six months, as I anticipate more remarkable achievements and positive impacts through our ongoing efforts.”
