2020 new project applications

We launched our request for new project applications in April this year, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in many countries around the world. However, given the number of applications we have received, we have seen that the crisis has clearly heightened the need for our work.

We were delighted to receive 47 excellent applications from 16 countries around the world. This is a more than 200% increase in applicants from 2018. We now have a difficult assessment process to complete in selecting those Project Leaders and the projects that will have the biggest impact. We know that our projects will be so important this year as lockdown is lifted and we help children return to a certain level of normality.

The Teach For All network played a key role in helping with this process and we are grateful for their support.

We hope to confirm the newly selected projects within the next few weeks.
